Capri the Cat needs a home

Capri is a SUPER sweet, mellow kitty, estimated to be about 8 years old. She naps in the sun as much as possible following it throughout the house from one side to the other during the day. She quietly purrs as she greets you in the morning and rubs on your legs. She's a wonderful lap cat and sleeps at the foot of the bed almost every night. Capri also LOVES to play, begging for play time every day. She chases ribbon and attacks paper bags and bottle tops, anything she can track by sound. She is great with strangers, running to the door to meet them and good with other cats too as long as she can stay out of their way which is difficult for her without her vision.


 


 


She's had a rough go since we got her in January from Minneapolis Animal Control. She was covered in mats and was in pain from a rotten tooth. Once those were taken care of she became even more affectionate and wanted to play even more than before. Unfortunately she was then diagnosed with ringworm which she has finally overcome. After that, she needed cataracts surgery, which she got this fall and has been recovering well from. Through all the medication and treatment she has stayed the same sweet Capri.



Due to Capri's medical needs, she will likely need to be in a foster-to-adopt situation, meaning you provide all of the love and we provide the medical needs until Capri is fully recovered! If you're interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, apply to adopt Capri today!
